The Pew Research Center projects that by the year 2050 White Americans will be an ethnic minority in the United States. 

What might be the impact of this dramatic shift? Many political pundits are very concerned. It makes some wonder whether efforts to stifle immigration among certain people of color might be very politically motivated.

Despite their efforts, shifts in birth rates will eventually leave White Americans as a minority. What will it mean to have a US culture with greater influence by people of color?
